A Jesus Story

Hebrews 12:1-2  "And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith"

What is a Jesus story?  I'm glad you asked! 

While learning ABOUT Jesus is a good thing, a better thing is to DO LIFE WITH HIM!  So this is a time for us to show each other what it looks like to DO LIFE WITH JESUS.

We share Jesus Stories during the Teen Connecting Point on Sundays at 10:15 AM in the Youth Room

Any personal experience that points people to Jesus.  A Jesus Story can be about:

  • When a decision is made to become a Jesus follower
  • Being set free from sin and/or addiction
  • A blessing either material or spiritual
      ie:  experiencing peace in adversity or joy in suffering, a check for a $100 shows up just when needed
  • A calling into ministry or mission
This isn't an exhaustive list, just an idea of what we're looking for in your Jesus Story.
 
If you have Jesus stories, and we hope you have a lot of them, just send us some via this email address:
 
  1. Daren will read each story as it's received
  2. If your Jesus story is one Daren would like the teens to hear he'll contact you
  3. Then if your willing he'll schedule you to tell your Jesus story during Connecting Time in the Youth Room
